Subject: How to apply rules to incoming mail by connecting server?
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Router Optimization
Technical Area: Functionality
Platform: Windows 2003 server
Release: 8.5
Reproducible: Always

Hi,

I'd like to use Rules and filter based on connecting server.

Based on what I've read (e.g. here: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus/library/spam-smtp2/) this should be possible by using "DNS Whitelist Filters" with option "Log and tag message".

I've tried this with several different whitelist providers (e.g. list.dnswl.org, query.bondedsender.org, hostkarma.junkemailfilter.com). The result is always that the mail is delivered but there is no $DNSWLSite item in the memo doc as there should be. I've restarted the router after each change.

Has anyone gotten the tagging to work?

thanks,

- Panu
